Halderman Endorsed by ABATE
Fresno – Dr. Linda Halderman’s campaign for Assembly has been endorsed by ABATE, an organization of motorcycle enthusiasts dedicated to freedom from government intrusion, as well as safety through education, not over-regulation.
“As a motorcycle enthusiast herself, Dr. Halderman knows our issues and values freedom,” said ABATE Legislative Director Jim Lombardo. “She will be an excellent advocate in Sacramento for freedom-loving people.”
Halderman is a strong proponent of personal responsibility. This includes activities on which state government attempts to impose an intrusive political agenda.
“Some politicians in Sacramento want government involvement in every facet of our lives,” said Dr. Halderman. “What they don’t understand is that we are a nation of people who need LESS government involvement in health care, parenting, and other decisions best made by an individual or family. Bureaucracy isn’t freedom.”

California Republican Assembly Endorses Linda Halderman for State Assembly
Fresno, CA) - Physician and State Assembly candidate Linda Halderman earned the endorsement of the California Republican Assembly (CRA), Halderman's campaign announced today.
"The CRA was founded on the conservative ideals that our state needs right now," said Dr. Halderman. "Before becoming a candidate for Assembly District 29, I advocated against ObamaCare and promoted other conservative principles that would help relieve our state's current economic chaos. I am grateful for the CRA's support in taking my work to the state level."
Chartered in 1934, the CRA is the state's oldest and largest Republican volunteer organization, working to elect Republican candidates who stand unwaveringly for Republican principles. It advocates for growth-oriented economic policies, promoting free enterprise and limited government. President Ronald Reagan referred to the CRA as the "conscience of the Republican Party."
Dr. Linda Halderman, a board-certified General Surgeon who specializes in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, brings a unique blend of public policy experience and real world experience to the campaign for the 29th Assembly seat. Fluent in Spanish, Halderman served rural south Fresno County's uninsured and underinsured women with breast cancer before underpayment by Medi-Cal and the state's breast cancer programs for uninsured women contributed to her practice's financial demise. Committed to fixing problems like the ones she experienced in her practice, Halderman sought a position as the Senior Policy Advisor to Senator Sam Aanestad, an Oral Surgeon and a member of the California State Senate Health Committee.
Dr. Halderman continues to practice as a General and Trauma Surgeon in underserved rural areas of California. After the 2009 earthquake and tsunami that devastated the South Pacific, Dr. Halderman provided medical relief for three months to the U.S. territory of American Samoa. Halderman graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in English from the University of Illinois. She is a published author with over 50 articles and essays that have appeared in local, national and international publications, including such prestigious websites as National Review Online, The American Thinker and Victor Davis Hanson's Private Papers. She is a frequent guest on Fresno radio and television programs, and has appeared on Fox News's "America's Newsroom."
Her leadership opposing government-controlled healthcare has made her a sought out expert on the issue of providing medical services to those with limited access to modern healthcare.

Linda Halderman Fundraising Tops Opponents by Nearly Three to One
Fresno, CA) - In the six weeks since announcing her candidacy, Linda Halderman raised nearly $81,000 for her campaign to represent the 29th Assembly District, besting her opponents by a three-to-one margin in the first quarter, and increasing her campaign's momentum as her fundraising efforts go into full swing. For the period ending March 17, Halderman raised almost $81,000 with $74,000 cash on hand.
"Support for Halderman's campaign continues to grow from a broad cross-section of the community, and that's clearly indicated in her March 17 report," said Halderman's spokesperson, Duane Dichiara. "There's momentum spreading through the District. We're seeing tremendous support for her campaign as District voters continue to express their strong desire for change and new leadership in Sacramento."
Linda Halderman, a fiscal conservative, has made the Valley's economic recovery one of her top priorities. While caring for rural Fresno County residents as a breast cancer surgeon, she witnessed first-hand the devastating impact a faltering economy has on Valley families. Her experiences will fuel her efforts to bring jobs and economic growth back to the Valley.
"I believe that serving in public office is the most effective way for me to make a difference in the lives of millions of struggling Central Valley businesses and families," Halderman said. "Having watched the legislative process up close, I know where Sacramento politicians are failing and what needs to be done to fix California."
